Travelling to various places is easy because of buses. Not owning a car is not a problem as you can commute by bus. For people who hate long drives, a bus drive will be more convenient. There many options for convenient traveling and a bus is one of them.

In the old days, traveling was never that easy nor efficient. About two centuries ago, even after the invention of steam engine automobiles or steam cars, the most popular means of transportation for people living in cities were horse-drawn omnibus or horse buses. This “bus” is carried by one or two horses with the driver seating at the front of a cabin that is enclosed has side benches inside. Unlike today’s design of double decker buses, in the past, the bus had to be pulled by three horses and some people had to seat on top of the enclosed cabin without a top cover and are seating with their backs at each other.

Nowadays, we see horse carriage rides as fun and exciting but in the past it was the only means of transport to most people and they had to deal with many inconvenience. Horses can get really smelly and cranky. The transportation must have been slow also as the horses can get tired when overworked. The spread of the horse flu was another inconvenient factor as drivers were forced to halt their horse bus services.

In the late 19th century, another public transportation was introduced which was the cable car. Although it was efficient and wonderfully designed, the operational costs were too much and officials were worried for the safety of the passengers.

After this, the trolley bus came into existence. A street car had to follow rails with different routes placed in city streets and passengers need to go to station stops to ride the street car. This system had a positive effect to both the people and the city because people in the rural area could travel to the city to work. The rising economy back then was due to the invention of street cars and the increased workforce in the industry. Even today, street cars still exist and are being used by some cities.

Commuting started to become convenient as the motor buses were introduced next. The demand of public transportation increased as well. From there, the designs of buses have changed and evolved, and more people were being accommodated.

Life in the city can get very busy every single day. In the Big Apple alone, more than 2 million people use the bus to go to work every day. Bus trips in Chicago reach to almost 19,000 daily.

The fact that millions of people use the bus daily, you could definitely imagine it getting dirty throughout the day.

It is essential to keep the environment inside the bus clean and for this to be possible, a bus wash company can be very helpful. A great bus wash company can provide efficient cleaning of buses and other related services. A clean and hygienic bus will please people and invite more people, therefore a bus must be cleaned with certified bus wash company.
